Critical for Excellent throws on movement-heavy Pokémon (Beedrill, Charizard, Pidgeot, Salamence). A stationary mons is 5× easier to land Excellent on.
Useful for Silver Pinap-style efficiency — Nanab + Curveball + Excellent + Razz on a tough mons = guaranteed catch + max XP + bonus throw quality.
