For bug reports, include the iOS version (Settings → General → About → Software Version), the app version (Hundo Hunter → Settings → About), and a quick description of what you were doing when the issue happened.
Live broadcast uses iOS’s screen recording API and pipes the frames into a sandboxed extension that runs OCR on-device. The extension extracts the species name and stats from the catch popup and writes the result to your local collection. No frames are uploaded — only your phone sees them.
The in-game appraisal locks IVs as integers 0–15 each. If the calculator returns multiple matches, you can usually narrow it down using the appraisal bar reading (red = 15, partial fill divided into thirds = 10, 12, 14). Make sure the stardust tier you picked matches what the game is asking before power-up.
Pro is a one-time $3.99 unlock that lifts the free-tier 50-mons collection cap to unlimited. Everything else — Live broadcast, all 7 tools, IV reading, raid counters — is free. There is no subscription, no auto-renew. Pro travels with your Apple ID (Restore Purchases on any device you sign into).
Pull down to refresh on the Vault tab, then re-check. If it still shows free-tier, open the app’s Settings > Pro > tap Restore Purchases. StoreKit may take a few seconds to confirm the entitlement on first install. If it’s still wrong after a minute, e-mail us with the date and time of purchase.
The counter only ticks when the broadcast extension parses a successful catch popup. Browsing your storage, viewing a mons profile, or being on the map screen will not advance it. Catch a fresh mons (or open and close a hex/trade popup) and the counter should advance.
Yes. The 1.0 release stores everything locally; no cloud sync yet. iCloud Backup, if enabled in your iOS settings, captures the database — but uninstalling without a backup-restore wipes the collection. Cloud sync is on the v1.1 roadmap.
No. Hundo Hunter is an unaffiliated, independent community tool. We don’t use copyrighted assets, brand names, or trademarks anywhere in the app interface. All calculations are based on public game data documented by the community.
No firm date. The hard parts of the iOS app (broadcast extension, Live Activity, StoreKit IAP) all have Android equivalents but require a separate codebase. If you’d like to be told when an Android beta opens, e-mail with the subject line Android beta.
Every tool runs in your browser, free, no install. The calculators are also bundled inside the iOS app for the same offline experience.
