The Mega Ascension event is here, running from August 31st to September 4th! This is your chance to take on powerful Mega Raid bosses without shields, making them easier to conquer with fewer trainers. Prepare your teams and maximize your rewards!
Greninja (Water/Dark) is a versatile attacker. In PvP, it ranks GL #134 and UL #158. Its hundo CP is 1516 (raid), 1896 (boosted), 2275 (wild), 1137 (research). It's weak to Electric, Grass, Fighting, Bug, and Fairy. Top counters include Zekrom, Mega Sceptile, and Mega Lucario.
Malamar (Dark/Psychic) is a PvP standout, ranking GL #20 and UL #15! Its hundo CP is 1347 (raid), 1685 (boosted), 2022 (wild), 1011 (research). Malamar is double weak to Bug, and also weak to Fairy. Bring Mega Heracross, Crowned Sword Zacian, or Mega Gardevoir for effective counters.
Raichu (Electric/Psychic) is an interesting pick, ranking GL #218 and UL #215. Its hundo CP is 1247 (raid), 1558 (boosted), 1870 (wild), 935 (research). It's weak to Ground, Bug, Ghost, and Dark. Top counters include Primal Groudon, Mega Gengar, and Yveltal.
With no shields in Mega Raids, now is the time to stock up on Mega Energy! The remote raid limit is increased to 30. Use your daily free passes and Link Charges to maximize your raid attempts. Prioritize Malamar for its strong PvP performance, Greninja for a solid attacker, and Raichu for dex completion.
