Gible Community Day Classic: Is it worth your time?

Gible Community Day Classic returns on September 12th, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time! This is your chance to catch Gible more frequently, with boosted shiny rates, and earn triple Catch XP. Lure Modules and Incense will last for three hours, with Lure Modules extending Gible encounters until 9:00 p.m. local time.

Evolving Gabite into Garchomp during the event (or up to 9:00 p.m. local time) grants it the powerful Ground-type charged attack, Earth Power. This move makes Garchomp a top-tier Ground attacker for raids and gym battles. Don't miss the Collection Challenge, which rewards Garchomp Mega Energy, potentially enough for its first Mega Evolution!

With triple Catch XP available, combine it with a Lucky Egg for a massive 6x XP bonus! Aim for Excellent throws, which can net you over 6000 XP per catch. For easier Excellent throws, consider using Kyurem Adventure Effects: White Kyurem slows the catch circle, while Black Kyurem freezes the mon in place.

Hunting for a perfect Gible? Here are the CP values to look for: a wild Hundo Gible will be 954 CP. If you catch one from research tasks, a perfect Gible will be 477 CP. For those from weather-boosted raids, a Hundo Gible will appear at 794 CP, and a non-boosted raid Hundo will be 635 CP. Use Hundo Hunter to quickly scan and find your perfect catch!
