June 2-8, 2026. Egg-themed Team Instinct event running as the Chicago Go Fest global tie-in. Halved hatch distance, 2× hatch XP + dust, Eldegoss with Spark accessory in 7 km eggs.

The egg-focused half of Go Fest Chicago. Even if you don't have a park ticket, this is the most efficient hatch session of June — 7 km eggs in 3.5 km with double XP + dust.
Limited-time event variant — never available outside Spark events. Completionist gold + the only way to get the Team Instinct cosmetic on Eldegoss. Gossifleur evolves to Eldegoss with 50 candy.
Classic 7 km hatches return. Mareep evolves to Ampharos (Mega Ampharos is the #2 Dragon attacker). Pichu candy → Pikachu/Raichu. Togepi → Togekiss (Master League meta).
Riolu → Lucario (rank 5 fighting attacker). Audino is the dust farm. Happiny chains to Chansey + Blissey (top defender). All 3 hatch in the boosted 7 km pool during the event.
7 km eggs collected during the event hatch in 3.5 km. Stack with Adventure Sync incubator + Super Incubator for the cheapest possible hatch session of the season.
Combines with Lucky Egg (×2) and Adventure Sync (×2) for an 8× XP stack per hatch. The session to bank for trainer-level grinding.
Stardust stack with Star Piece (1.5×) = 3× per hatch. Pair with 12 km Adventure Sync rewards for the best dust-per-hatch rate of the month.
Free quest line with encounter, dust + XP rewards. Includes encounter with Eldegoss wearing the Spark accessory. Auto-claimed when you open the game during the event window.

Gossifleur / Eldegoss are not region-locked but were rare encounters before this event. The Spark-accessory cosmetic is event-exclusive — no other way to get it once the event ends. Same with the Pikachu and Mareep variants that may appear wearing Spark cosmetics in raids.
Empty your incubators BEFORE June 2 — only eggs you spin during the event get the halved distance + bonus rewards. Bring 5-9 empty slots into the start. Use Super Incubators on 7 km eggs since they multiply the hatch speed. Adventure Sync 50 km weekly reward gives free incubator-quality eggs.
Yes — no ticket required. The timed research, hatch bonuses, and event spawns are all free. A paid Spark-themed avatar bundle is typically available in the shop as the only premium option.

Chicago Go Fest 2026 happens June 4-7 in-person — the global Spark event lets remote trainers participate via spawns + hatches without a $25-ticket.
