Water Festival Raids: Don't Miss These Legendaries!
what's actually worth your time / candy
From August 18 to 24, trainers can challenge powerful Legendaries in raids. This is your chance to acquire game-changing mons, including Primal Groudon and Origin Dialga and Palkia, along with their unique abilities.
Origin Dialga and Palkia return to raids. These mons can come with exclusive Adventure Effects: Roar of Time extends premium item durations, while Spatial Rend boosts interaction range. These effects are only available if caught with the move or by using an Elite TM before the event concludes. Palkia ranks #2 in Master League, and Dialga is #8, making them top-tier PvP investments.
Primal Groudon makes its comeback, solidifying its position as the #1 Ground-type attacker in the game. Beyond its raw power, it boosts damage and candy gains for Ground, Fire, and Grass-type mons. It's also a strong contender in the Master League, ranking #32. You'll need approximately 5-6 raids to gather enough Primal Energy for its first Primal Reversion.
During this event, prioritize raiding Origin Dialga and Palkia first to secure their Adventure Effect moves. Once you have these valuable additions, shift your focus to Primal Groudon. Remember to aim for high IVs for these powerful mons. Groudon's hundo CP is 2351 (unboosted) or 2939 (boosted), Dialga's is 2307 (unboosted) or 2884 (boosted), and Palkia's is 2280 (unboosted) or 2850 (boosted).
Every raid pass and piece of candy counts. Don't settle for less than perfect. Use Hundo Hunter to quickly scan your catches and identify the best IVs. Maximize your candy and stardust investment on the mons that truly matter.
