- ◆ Purify low-IV Shadow mons you would have transferred anyway — same medal credit, far less Stardust per progress point.
- ◆ Shadow Magikarp and Shadow Pidgey are the cheapest purifies in the game.
- ◆ Pair purifies with Best Buddy goals — purified mons get +2 IVs and can hit hundo status.
