PokéStop nomination scout
Pick a spot, overlay the S2 Level 17 cell grid, and pull nomination candidates — playgrounds, public art, monuments, viewpoints — straight from OpenStreetMap. Built to answer one question: where around here is there a real, distinct thing worth nominating?
READ THIS FIRST
This tool shows candidate places and the S2 cell grid — it does not show existing PokéStops. There is no legitimate public source for live stop locations, so occupancy is the one thing it can't tell you.
Use it alongside Niantic Wayfarer: the scout finds what you could nominate and which cell it sits in; Wayfarer's own map tells you whether that Level 17 cell is already taken. A candidate in an occupied cell would be approved but never appear in the game.

01 · HOW TO USE IT
- 1. Search an address or tap Use my location to jump to your area.
- 2. Zoom in to level 16+ — the cyan S2 Level 17 cell grid appears. Each cell holds at most one PokéStop or Gym.
- 3. Coloured markers are OpenStreetMap features that could make a nomination — they load automatically as you pan. Tap one for what it is and which cell it falls in.
- 4. Cross-check that cell in Wayfarer. Empty cell + a distinct candidate = a nomination that will actually appear in the game.
