The first of three 2026 in-person Go Fest cities (Chicago → Copenhagen → Global). Park-ticket holders get exclusive 5★ raid blocks; the entire rotation runs city-wide for City Explorer + remote trainers.
Park ticket holders unlock these in dedicated raid blocks each day. Mewtwo with guaranteed Psystrike on capture. Zapdos with Drill Peck. Raichu is the surprise lineup pick — first time as a 5★ raid.
In-person + remote raid passes. Shadow Zapdos is the #2 Electric attacker. Shadow Kyogre + Groudon return for the first time since 2024 — top water + ground attackers, no rival.
Available throughout the park window. Primal Kyogre = #1 Water attacker, Primal Groudon = #1 Ground + Fire attacker (Mud Slap + Precipice Blades). 3,000 orb energy per capture.
Each of the 4 park days has its own habitat: Volcano (Fire/Ground), Tide (Water), Verdant (Grass), Storm (Electric/Flying). 3★ rotation matches the habitat. Bonus candy + premier balls.

Thursday, June 4 through Sunday, June 7, 2026. Park sessions run 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM local time. Citywide gameplay starts at 10:00 AM and runs until 8:00 PM each day. Special Research is auto-claimed when you start the app during the event window.
Grant Park, downtown Chicago — same venue as 2022 + 2024. The main hub is near Buckingham Fountain with stages, habitat zones, and the Special Research start point. The 'city experience' radius extends across most of the Loop, near North Side, and South Loop.
Yes. The U.S.-exclusive regional Tauros (Paldea forms) gets a boost during the park window. Sigilyph (Middle East/Africa lock) is also boosted for ticket holders. Both will be in the Special Research story so even remote trainers via Park Pass get them once.
Spark is the Team Instinct leader (yellow team). The global Spark's Caretaking event (June 2-8) parallels the park experience for remote trainers — halved hatch distance, double XP/dust on hatches, Eldegoss with Spark accessory in 7 km eggs. Free for everyone, no ticket required.
