Best mons for Ultra League (2500 CP) in Pokémon GO
The Ultra League meta is anchored by Giratina-Altered. Top picks: Giratina-A, Cresselia, Walrein, Talonflame, Pidgeot, Cobalion, Virizion, Trevenant.
Ultra League's 2500 cap is where legendaries become viable without losing too much bulk. Giratina-Altered defines the meta — most teams either run it or have a hard counter (Dark/Ice attackers, Fairy charged moves).
XL Candy investment pays off here. Lucky mons are dramatically cheaper to level. Best Buddy can push you over the cap, so check before applying.
