01 · FULL EXPLANATION

Legendaries are the high-tier story mons — Mewtwo, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Ray, Kyogre, Groudon, Dialga, Palkia, etc. They appear primarily as 5★ raid bosses.

Wild legendaries are rare (only certain events). Most legendary IVs come from raids — the 10-15 IV floor on raid catches makes hundo odds 1/216 vs 1/4096 on wild mons.

Trading legendaries always costs a Special Trade (1/day limit). Raid catch CP at L20 (or L25 if weather boosted) is the IV signal — Hundo Hunter's IV calculator inverts the CP to give you the exact spread.
