Best Darkrai counters — Tier 5 raid (2026)
The best Darkrai counters are Mega Lucario, Mega Gardevoir, Terrakion, Shadow Machamp, and Xerneas. Fairy + Fighting + Bug are super-effective.
Darkrai is pure Dark — weak to Fairy, Fighting, and Bug. Fighting is preferred for raw damage because Darkrai's Dark moves are neutral against Fighting.
Avoid Psychic and Ghost attackers — Darkrai resists both. Mega Lucario + Shadow Machamp form the standard duo lineup.
