Best Dragon-type attackers in-game (2026)
The best Dragon attackers are Mega Rayquaza, Shadow Rayquaza, Rayquaza, Mega Salamence, and Shadow Dragonite. Dragon counters Dragon raids and a select few legendaries.
Dragon-type is the niche answer to Dragon raids (Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Zekrom, Reshiram). The mirror match — Dragon hitting Dragon — is x1.6. Combined with high-attack legendary Dragons, this is one of the strongest single-type matchups.
Rayquaza dominates this list — both as a hundo standard form and as a Mega. Dragon Tail + Outrage is the meta moveset.
