Best Normal-type attackers in-game (2026)

The strongest Normal-type attackers are Mega Lopunny, Shadow Ursaluna, Slaking, Ursaring, and Snorlax. Normal is a niche attacking type with no super-effective coverage.

Normal has no super-effective coverage — it's a neutral type. But Hyper Beam and Giga Impact are some of the highest-damage charged moves in the game, making Normal attackers solid generalists.

Slaking with Yawn is essentially useless in raids — but with Lick + Hyper Beam it punches above its weight. Mega Lopunny pulls double duty as Fighting STAB.
